Hullo peopleee~! It'southward that girl again, and today I volition exist showing you how I draw my ocs! You can likewise apply this to draw your own if you want!

Office Uno: The Sketch!

Person: But Marz, everyone starts out with a sketch!

Yea Yea, merely this wouldn't be a step past step 'tutorial' if I didn't include the most important function, would it?

Anyways, start out with a circle. Very educational, right? Anybody has their own way of cartoon heads so become on. Draw your version of a head.

The circles placed randomly and the random short line are actually adaptations from my uncomplicated school fine art instructor Mrs. Macatee. {If that'due south how you spell information technology... I don't recall..}

She taught it to the class and I've changed it slightly over the years after information technology stuck.

The circles represent the future joints of the body. The 'random' little sideways marking is there to marker the heel of the foot. And the rectanglish boxes marking the breast and lower department. Make sure to sketch lightly, or you'll regret it!

Role Dos: Outlining The Actual Body!

You literally just outline the trunk. {You add item later} All I really added were lines and the breasts {tooootally non awkward if you're female person every bit well}

Part Tres: Adding Details And The Outfit!

In this part, you erase the sketchy sketchy circles and boxes, add in a footling detail to the knees and neck, go ahead and depict your ocs outfit! Make it equally simple or complicated equally y'all want, it'due south your choice! I already kind of started her hair... Woopsies! Oh well..!

Part Cuatro: Finishing The Hair And Starting The Face!

You lot tin can draw whichever style you want the hair to be! Up, or loose; long, or short; curly, or straight. It's your selection! This character had long curly hair.

Function Cinco: Finishing The Face And Starting To Color!

Y'all literally cease the face, pick your colour palette, and starting time to colour! I recommend using colored pencils versus water coloring and Crayons because yous have more control with them then water colors, and information technology doesn't await so swell with Crayons. For this character, I used water colors.

Part Seis: Finishing Coloring!

Congrats! You only finished your oc! You can driblet a similar if you enjoyed this tutorial--
